Much more than simply Marketo training:

Hoosh University training combines the teaching expertise of the University of Technology, Sydney, with real world lessons learnt from over 10 years of pioneering in the marketing automation space. You will establish a fundamental base in digital marketing theory through problem-based learning, and then build experience in a specific automated marketing platform: Marketo. All theory lessons are complemented with in-depth illustrative real world examples to get you running best practice campaigns by the end of your course.

Role-specific training: The training is split into four streams : Marketing Ops, Marketing Manager, Designer and IT. Each stream is composed of 3-7 courses, with roughly 15 modules per course. Each course has a mixture of assignments and quizzes to test your knowledge and get practical hands on experience.

Delivery: Hoosh training is delivered via our online training platform. When you first log in, you'll see streams that you belong to, as well as courses you've been enrolled in. As you can see, this is a personalised learning experience which can be done at your pace. Each different stream is tailored for a particular marketing role, it is not a one size fits all. On top of this, the learning platform is available on all devices. At any time you can see your progress in the courses, and read overviews of courses you've done or are awaiting completion.

Theory and hands on: Each module in the course is a mix of theory and hands on. For example, the theory video in a module is: "What are the elements of a best practice marketing email?", and the hands on section to complement that is: "How to build that best practice marketing email in Marketo".

Instructor marking & support: At the end of a quiz, you'll get your results as well as the correct answers. All the quiz results are available to your certified Marketo trainer so you can be given personalised attention if required. Email support is also included across all packages.

A safe training ground:For assignments, as part of the course, we provide a safe sandbox so that you can practice the hands on elements taught in the course. The course also included classroom workshops to get hands on experience in building campaigns as a team. Part of the workshop is reviewing what you have learnt online, as well as implementing real campaigns with your team in a sandbox environment. And finally, releasing a live campaign as a team with what you have learnt.

Through our work with Marketo customers, we realised that the greatest challenge of adopting Marketo was not learning the product, but the general lack of digital marketing skills amongst marketers.

Face-to-face training and classroom courses could not sustainably fill this gap. There was simply too much material to cover and getting everyone in the same room was rarely possible. Additionaly, the cost of face-to-face training was too expensive for most customers to maintain.

Instead, we recorded our training and put it on a learning platform, adding quizzes and assignments to make it interactive and hands-on.

To ensure that our course was professionally structured and contained the best of modern marketing theory, we partnered with the University of Technology, Sydney. In conjunction with Professors in Marketing, our consultants developed a course over the course of one year which combined theory and practical Marketo know-how."
